You're working on another tooth. You're so tired today, and ouchie, and I think it's because of the tooth. Last week I was sick, and couldn't bounce you. We slept together in bed for one morning nap, and then you did an afternoon nap in your swing. Then Daddy did your naps the next day. And suddenly you take all your naps in the swing. Today is my first day home alone with you since you started that. Last week was Thanksgiving, so Dad was thankfully home a lot.

Anyway, so now you're my big enormous girl who doesn't need to be bounced for naps. As we say all the time, you're ready for college! You just need someone to nurse you and change your diapers.

First tooth!

You cut a tooth today, probably this afternoon. Your grandma left from a weekend visit at about 1 p.m., and we think you still didn't have it then. Early this evening, you grabbed your dad's finger and chomped down, and he said, "Ow!" I said, "What?" and he replied, "She bit me and it felt sharp!" I said, "Oh my gosh, does she have a tooth?" and went over and felt in your mouth, and indeed you have a tiny little sharp area and a pink/red area on your bottom gum! You were chewing on your Sophie toy awfully insistently yesterday... But I was still very surprised!
